Starlink Mission

7 754
SpaceX is targeting Wednesday, March 18 at 8:16 a.m. EDT, or 12:16 UTC, for its sixth launch of Starlink satellites. Falcon 9 will lift off from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, with a backup opportunity on Thursday, March 19 at 7:56 a.m. EDT, or 11:56 UTC.
Falcon 9’s first stage supported the Iridium-7 NEXT mission in July 2018, the SAOCOM 1A mission in October 2018, the Nusantara Satu mission in February 2019, and the second launch of Starlink in November 2019. Following stage separation, SpaceX will land Falcon 9’s first stage on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. Falcon 9’s fairing previously supported the first launch of Starlink in May 2019. Approximately 45 minutes after liftoff, SpaceX’s fairing recovery vessels, “Ms. Tree” and “Ms. Chief,” will attempt to recover the two fairing halves.

Does anyone care to answer what the UFO/UAP that fly's by the booster at T+6.39 is 21:31 . I compared the object to the stabilizer fins and concluded its about the size of a beach ball (4K 32" monitor) at an altitude of approx 138KM.?!!!! The first UFO/UAP shoots past the right stabilizer at 21:29 followed by the close one at 21:31.

Is Space x starting to lose its mojo? The death of one of its engines on the latest cargo mission, the crew dragon parachute problems, and so forth. Have the goals of SpaceX finally come nose up to the technical difficulties to successfully carry out its lofty expectations? I have been in a continual state of delight over the company's many pioneering accomplishments, but lately it seems like things are stalling out.
James Dean
James Dean - 6 dögum síðan
@logitech4873 Many spectacular successes, but still a few nagging glitches that would cause more concern of NASA than the rest of us. Sometimes, I think that NASA conveniently forgets its spectacular failures, too. But, I think that SpaceX would be horrified to lose any astronauts as NASA has lost many. Hence the concerns over remaining issues. It stiol concerns me that with the complexity of space travel and the rapid advances of SpaceX, are they moving beyond current expertise's in their efforts. I hope not!!!
logitech4873 - 6 dögum síðan
@James Dean I don't know NASAs specific requirements. The rockets are safe though. Last failure was 5 years ago, they're now on a huge success streak.

You know that currently SpaceX (+ some engineers from Tesla) are switching they production lines to produce respirators for COVID-19 victims? (lack of respirators is one of main reasons behind catastrophic death tool in Italy). Both those companies have good production base for live rescue/support equipment: live support systems in SpaceX Dragon 2 capsule and Tesla HEPA filters. Plus both Tesla and SpaceX has given they supplies of N95 masks to hospitals. Edit: Link to sources:

Oops to the commentator, female, who starts this, who thinks that some people don't get internet - wrong! The internet is everywhere now, so Space X is doing this for OTHER reasons, like increased surveillance. Sad to hear that you r using Kerosene a fossil fuel to launch this, boo, Elon Musk, you know renewable electricity or biofuel would be so much better for our now highly polluted atmosphere! WTH?! Is Tesla a joke!
