Immediately after first viewing this, I downloaded Ed's book via kindle and via audible. It took the better part of 3 days to get through it, and even though I am a person with a fairly good vocabulary, I had to look up a few dozen words - because I wanted to make SURE I understood what Ed was saying. Bravo! I especially like how the thing ended. At first I was discouraged because Snowden had told you so much that was in the book, but eventually I ran into parts in there that were tough to follow and, at times, I had to re-read things 3 times to understand it. But it was worth it. I'm proud of Both Ed and Lindsay Snowden.

The 2 biggest kept secrets in the government is nuclear weapons n aliens. Thats number 1 n number 2. Thats a fact. N its a proven fact that u can verify urself. The Cia was created within a month of roswell.

The Cia was created within a few weeks of roswell. Thats not a coincidence. And its a known proven fact the government is hiding aliens n covering that stuff up u can find that out on Netflix. Where our nuclear weapons r hidden n how they r made. Aliens r a bigger kept secret. What is more important to the government then hiding our nuclear missiles from other countries n how they r made, whats a bigger priority is hiding alien evidence. Thats a fact. U can look that up. These documents have been released.

Does Mr Snowden not think that all our adversaries use the same tactics our intelligent agencies and worse? Is he trying to "win the world over with love" while in a death struggle with the most evil, immoral people in the entire world? Lefties think with their hearts, not their heads. Pathological altruism. I respect the man greatly, but...

Wow. Hard to listen to him. Unfortunately I was laying tile in my kitchen and couldn’t get to the remote control to turn him off. Sounds like somebody on a book tour, who wants to be the next Che Guevara. Thinks he’s the smartest one in the room and everybody wants to listen to him. Thanks for having him on however, I think about him more as a traitor now than I did before. Yeah it would be nice to live in a perfect world, however there’s places like Russia and China out there that are coming for us and they don’t have their hands tied around their balls. I’m glad Edward Snowden’s life is in exile. Absolute traitor. I turned on the podcast to listen to Joe, instead got to listen to Snowden’s two hour promotional video.

Snowden wants to stay above partisanship but "For all the good Obama has done” i mean, this is an administration that spied on that same James Risen, and made a hobby of using the espionage act on whistle blowers.
if unethical surveillance is your Raison D'etre, wouldn't the culmination of such surveillance into sketchy attempts to undermine a presidential election be the holy grail? If there's anything that has made a majority of the American ppl disgusted with the Intelligence Community, and thirsty for reform, it is "Spy Gate". The time is now!
Yet nowhere in 3 hours can Snowden find a minute to discuss it. Not a single comment on the systematic spying by on opposite party candidate and incoming admin. Fraudulent FISA applications, manipulation of classified mass surveillance, coordinated leaks to friendly media ops. All with the purpose to undermine embarrass and destroy members of a new president.
Right now is the best chance Snowden has of being heard. I think he needs to take advantage of it

I respect Snowden to the very heart but i can see it being really impractical for any government to get a vote on the enforcement policies, while there's fear & dread in the air due to recent terrorist activities. It'd be like really hard for a system to work like that and that is when the policies and people like this would thrive.
EliteTheo - 2 dögum síðan
I think one of the reason the government doesn’t let the public know is probably because they don’t want the other countries or out enemies to know about it because it could potentially put the nation at risk

If you're a thinking person (as opposed to a tinkling person), you have to think about several key facts. ONE, How in BLOODY HELL did he (Snowden) get out of HK with a revoked passport? TWO, if you had the suspicion (read: assured knowledge) that you would be caught AT THE AIRPORT, would you go to THE AIRPORT? No, you wouldn't. No one would. THREE, Why would he go to RUSSIA. He says he wasn't? If he wasn't going to RUSSIA, why would he board an AEROFLOT flight? For the stewardesses? But seriously, think about the situations. FOUR, HOW did he get out of Hong Kong? They revoke his passport, and I've read also that they got his middle name wrong and so he slipped through? Okay...when you revoke a passport, you do so with a name? NO....people, you do it with the UNIQUE NUMBER..THAT ALL PASSPORTS HAVE...LOOK at your passport...there it is. And then FIVE, when you enter the passport number in the system, the passport comes up on your terminal and you see that it's correct and then confirm it a couple of times. SIX, he had to teach Glenn Greenwald how to use encryption for their communications, and then he leaves the information at the discretion of a guy who seems to really have no background in any kind of security, much less government security. Think about it possible that Snowden, as a "former" employee of the CIA got an in at the NSA, and then used his position to plug the holes in the Obama administration's campaign to weaken America? I mean, as thinking people, you can all agree that the USA was much weaker after Obama than it ever had been....if you think I'm blowing smoke, take a look at the numbers. Take a look at the press support that he got. SEVEN, They say that Snowden criticizes Russia...I've actually heard him do that...but does he gain access to their deepest defense secrets and expose them to Iran? I haven't heard that he has or that he has that inclination. His situation is a massive psy-op on all people, worldwide...he should not be trusted. The information he gives out about phones being used as surveillance devices has been talked about for a long time prior to him coming out. He only adds to the conversation in that he is a serious contender for the most massive betrayer of mankind in history. Yes, mankind. He is a globalist puppet and shill, with obvious connections to China and Russia and the Obama white house (otherwise, they'd have gotten him in HK without any effort).

Most of us will get inspired by this podcast for a week and then go back to our lives the following week. Unfortunately unless and until bombs are dropping in our own backyards we will not have a drive to make a difference. Pain is a much bigger motivator than no pain. Those that wear a mask of democracy are far MORE dangerous than those that wear a suicide jacket. Snowden is our hero!
